So I just got off work after what seems like a hellish weekend. Delivery boy/kitchen manager up and quit on us Saturday and left us short handed. He literally walked in with an attitude threw his hat and uniform on the counter and walked out. It was all over not finding anyone to cover for him because he had strep. Him walking out screwed us over big time and what a dick move that was. We were slammed with orders and had a hard time keeping up with them. I stayed 30 minutes longer than what I was supposed to to help Dave the new delivery driver get situated with closing procedures. It was a mess. Then tonight it was my turn to close. It was a bit hectic but not half as bad as Saturday. Thank god! Also thank god I have Monday off because it is well deserved!

I’m still alive! Lol I just don’t make it on here much anymore due to a extremely busy work schedule. -_- Sometimes adulting just really sucks and then that’s when I remember that’s why I’m allowed to buy alcohol. I have literally not had a day off since Thursday of last week, due to covering my delivery driver/kitchen manager both Thursday and Friday. My manager apologized all over the place to me when she asked me to cover for him tonight until he showed up. I had no choice but to, since we are still short staffed. *eyerolls* My next day off comes Wednesday, I’m hoping to have it off then. Also my cute niece is turning 1 next week.
